Last Saturday was the last session of the comic workshop organised by Alexandra Torres, artist and plastic arts teacher. The children were invited for dinner at a Pollería – a grilled chicken restaurant – by Alexandra to celebrate the end of the workshop and enjoy a nice time together outside of the classroom.
On top of the hundreds of fries and the delicious crusty chicken, Jair was awarded a prize for being the most applicated and committed student in the class. He received drawing material so that he can keep drawing and creating at the Home and put into practice everything he has learned with Alexandra.
We’d like to thank Alexandra Torres again for her great work with the children. This workshop has helped them develop their creativity and find a new way of expressing themselves. They will have a new addition to their skills that might be useful in their future.
You can see on the picture the comic Jair created – a very advanced work for a 14-year-old! Maybe a future graphic novelist…?
