From March to June, the children of the Home could test their creativity with a comic workshop each Saturday afternoon organized and led by the art teacher and artist Alexandra Torres.
During these three months, the children and teenagers learned some comic drawing and writing techniques with Alexandra Torres in small groups.
The comic workshop is part of our vision of what the kids should benefit from at the Home: on the weekends, they should not only be occupied in doing their usual diary chores and homework, but they must also keep developing their intellectual and creative abilities by participating in various types of workshops and events. This is why we try to find support from professionals, artists and sportspersons who can transmit to the kids their knowledge, skills and views and help them get better in various fields.
We believe that we can develop the children’s artistic skills through these workshops helps them not only broaden their horizon but also better manage their issues such as lack of concentration, poor social relations, lack of expressivity, etc.
We are lucky to be able to count on the support of various friends to organize and attend these workshops.
