I have spent four unforgettable months with the children of Mundo de Niños. It was one of the best times of my life.
I spent four wonderful months with the children of Mundo de Niños. I was very impressed by this place as they all live together as a big family, whether they are tutors, teachers or kids.
It is hard to sum up with words experiences one has made – especially when these experiences are so important to you. But I will try to do so in these lines.
During my first year of Specialised Education studies in France, I decided to live an adventure in which I would share experiences with socially challenged youth. I wanted this adventure to take place in a context completely different from the French context.
Never have I felt so much love, or as fulfilled as with the boys in Mundo de Niños. Our hours spent playing on the beach, in soccer matches, working on homework, listening to their stories, sharing birthday celebrations and the day to day arguments and laughs are hours I would never wish to take back.
